"THE DAVE RAMSEY SHOW" RECEIVES TWO NOMINATIONS IN THE 2006 RADIO & RECORDS NEWS/TALK INDUSTRY ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
NASHVILLE, Tenn. For the fifth year in a row, Dave Ramsey host of the nationally syndicated "The Dave Ramsey Show" has been nominated for the Radio & Records News/Talk syndicated Personality of the Year. Ramsey is in good company. Also nominated in this category are Mike Gallagher of Salem Radio Networks' "The Michael Gallagher Show," Rush Limbaugh of Premiere Radio Networks' "The Rush Limbaugh Show," Sean Hannity of ABC Radio Networks' "The Sean Hannity Show," Michael Savage of Talk Radio Network's "The Savage Nation," and Dr. Laura Schlessinger of Take On The Day Inc.'s "The Dr. Laura Show." "The Dave Ramsey Show" is independently owned, operated and syndicated.
Bill Hampton, executive vice president of broadcasting for "The Dave Ramsey Show" was nominated in the News/Talk Industry Executive of the Year category for the second year. Hampton is joined by Nancy Abramson of WSJ Radio Network, Amy Bolton of Jones Radio Network, Kraig Kitchin of Premiere Radio Networks, Mark Masters of Talk Radio Network and Jim Robinson of ABC Radio Networks.
