"THE DAVE RAMSEY SHOW" RECEIVES TWO NOMINATIONS IN THE 2005 RADIO & RECORDS NEWS/TALK INDUSTRY ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

NASHVILLE, Tenn. For the fourth year in a row, Dave Ramsey host of the nationally syndicated "The Dave Ramsey Show" has been nominated for the Radio & Records News/Talk syndicated Personality of the Year. Ramsey is in good company. Also nominated in this category are Rush Limbaugh of Premiere Radio Networks' "The Rush Limbaugh Show," Glenn Beck of Premiere Radio Networks' "The Glen Beck Show," Sean Hannity of ABC Radio Networks' "The Sean Hannity Show," Don Imus of Westwood One's "Imus in the Morning," and Laura Ingraham of "Talk Radio Network's "The Laura Ingraham Show." "The Dave Ramsey Show" is independently owned, operated and syndicated.

Bill Hampton, vice president of broadcasting for "The Dave Ramsey Show" was nominated in the News/Talk Industry Executive of the Year category. Hampton is joined by Jack Abernathy of Fox News, Amy Bolton of Jones Radio Network, Shane Coppola of Westwood One, Kraig Kitchin of Premiere Radio Networks and Mark Masters of Talk Radio Network.

According to Radio & Records, "Voters will have a tough time choosing this year's winners, because every person and station nominated represents the very best the format has to offer. The oft-used phrase 'It's an honor just to be nominated' truly applies here."

Subscribers to Radio & Records vote online for their favorite in each category. The winners will be announced at the annual awards luncheon at the 10th Annual Radio & Records Talk Radio Seminar, March 10 to 12 in Los Angeles.
