How did it work out for you?
Hopefully, you enjoyed some of the perks that come from a cash-only lifestyle. Spending less and getting more deals are great reasons for ditching the debit card. We’re sure you found other reasons why cash is still king.
No matter how you did on the challenge, you are a winner. You got the chance to see what works and what doesn’t. Maybe you learned that you rent a lot of movies from a streaming service, so you don’t need as much cash for your entertainment fund. Or maybe you bought school supplies online and saved money, so that budget item didn’t need as much cash as you thought.
Every family and every experience is different, so focus on what works best for you. Keep in mind, though, that every time you use cash instead of the debit card, you’re creating great habits that will save you time and money.
