How Do I Overcome Fear Of Taking Business Full-Time?

Dave thinks that it's good to have some healthy fear about taking your business full-time because it motivates you to leave the cave, kill something, and bring it home!

QUESTION: Ray and his wife started a business debt free last year.  He wants to know how to deal with the fear of taking his business full time.

ANSWER: Fear can be limited by financial stability.  For example, if you had no debt and $100,000 in your savings account for your business, you wouldn’t have much fear.

You also eliminate fear by starting the business on a part-time basis so you’re not jumping in completely.  Easing into running your own small business is the way to avoid some of that fear.
However, as an entrepreneur there’s always going to be a little bit of fear involved - that just comes with the territory.  It’s good to have some healthy fear because it motivates you to leave the cave, kill something, and bring it home!
