Ask Dave

Too Good To Be True

Dan's co-worker has a great money-making opportunity that seems too good to be true ... or so he thinks.

QUESTION: Dan has a co-worker who wants to borrow $10,000. The co-worker wants to sell a car to his own brother overseas and says he will bring Dan $17,000 next month, but Dan doesn’t want to get burned. Dave has a quick solution for this one.

ANSWER:  Don't do this. This is a con! Walk away! If he's offering to pay you $7,000, then he's going to make even more on that. And this is just a car sale ... TO HIS OWN FAMILY! Run away and stay away from this. If it sounds too good to be true ... IT IS! I wouldn't do this deal if you poured gasoline on me and set me on fire!
