Graduation Coming Up...Advice Please?

QUESTION:
Rachel will be graduating in a year and wants to know what she can do to be prepared for the real world after graduation.

ANSWER:

Read what Dave says:
Pile up as much cash as you can.  That will allow you to make any type of transition you want to make coming out of college.  A lot of money saved up gives you options to do whatever you want.  I’d recommend having more than six month’s worth of expenses when you graduate.  If you come out of college broke or with a bunch of debt, you have very few options.

After you save up your big emergency fund, just make sure you stay out of debt and save and pay cash for everything you buy.
