Picking Up Pieces

When there's conflict at work, pull the parties together and talk about it, Dave says.

QUESTION: Stuart was falsely accused of downloading music at work, and it ruined his work reputation. His bosses have exonerated him, but how can he make things good again until he finds another job?

ANSWER: If you were exonerated, your bosses should let everyone know about it. We teach that when there is conflict, get the parties together and talk about it. We don’t have gossip around here. Go to your employers and get them to help you cleanse your reputation so you can get back to your normal work routine and environment.
