Get That Income Up
Betty has an income crisis -- she's a single mother of two kids and only makes $13,000 a year!
QUESTION: Betty asks how she gets started on Dave’s plan. She’s single, makes $13,000 a year, works 30 hours a week, goes to school part-time and has two kids. She’s getting fed up, but doesn’t want to give up.
ANSWER: What you have is an income crisis. You’re living at the poverty level. You have to find what you want to do and get with it. You need to start working about 60 hours a week making some decent money. There are going to be some times when you have to miss times in your kids’ lives, but you want to be building to something that allows you to not do that anymore. Have a clear-cut goal of what you want to do and get started on it.
