Attitude time with Dave

Question: John tells Dave that it's easy for Dave to talk about becoming rich when you have a great income like Dave does. He even calls Dave a name. Dave has a response for him.

Dave Ramsey's advice: It's an interesting thing that you bring up. I did this money managing stuff before all my money troubles happened, and I did it before I made the kind of money that I make now. I was completely broke when I started this. I was broke, but I wasn't poor. The only difference between broke and poor is attitude. I think you're poor, and that's sad. Your bitterness is sad for you because you're the only one it's affecting. I know how to swing a hammer and dig a ditch. If I was a trust fund baby, your criticism would stick. But since I'm not, it doesn't.

This guy has no idea what he's talking about! Dave had to hustle (just like the rest of us) to get to where he is today. God bless him for shring his tools with the rest of us who have been less than intelligent with money.

This man is letting his attitude and the devil defeat him. We all have two people inside us, the person the world makes us (by our own choosing abd the person God intended us to be...........the one we feed is the one that wins. Feed the bad attitude and it survives, if you wanna kill it, stop feeding it.

It's amazing how envy blinds us. This guy is too envious to realize that if Dave is teaching the steps, he evidently had to use them. If anyone has the right to teach this concept, Dave has it. To dig yourself out of millions of dollars of debt, is far more impressive than those of us who dig ourselves out of $2.00 of credit card debt.

Why are people such fools? If you dont agree, then dont listen. Debt is dumb and Ramsey is King! Keep up the good work dave.

Since when is a wealthy person a villian because he/she worked hard and disciplined themselve to build
wealth? This man's opinion is that of many of those who expect others to bail them out of their debt.

Mr. Ramsey: Thanks for emphasizing that a bunch of your listeners like me make 20K-40K per year and our lives ROCK. I do work that I love so much that only God could have blessed me with it. I was living the life of fear going paycheck to paycheck, but I’ve started my Total Money Makeover, I’m turning the fears over to God, getting honest, crunching my budget, working hard, making changes, and suddenly I feel RICH. Can only speak for myself, but thanks for changing my ATTITUDE Dave!

Baby steps don't work? Thats ridiculous. I make l6,000 a year with a truck payment, with other debts, and living expenses; and you know what I'm not broke. Manage your money!
