Biography
When you were 18 years old, what were you concerned about? Getting into college? Buying your first car? Most of us have similar concerns at that age, but Christy Wright had a very different 18th year.
That’s the year she started volunteering at Young Life and turned a passion into a profession. Nearly a decade later, Christy is still following that same passion. Having made the same mistakes with money that so many people make early in adulthood, she gives hope to others who need to know that it’s not impossible to change their lives.
A naturally gifted speaker, Christy’s sarcastic sense of humor and direct approach have received outstanding reviews during her time with Dave’s team. She tailors her message in new and vibrant ways by combining her passion, personal experience and volunteer work to engage and entertain audiences.
Christy’s popularity with youth is reflective of her natural gift in relationship-building and connecting with teens. She is excited about challenging today’s teens to achieve greatness and giving them the steps to get there.
She currently serves as Dave’s Youth Project Coordinator, and she also volunteers her time as the head leader of Young Life at Franklin High School in Franklin, Tennessee. She holds a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Tennessee.
