Biography
Everybody loves a shortcut. If there’s a faster way to get from point A to point B, many of us will do our best to find it. But Chris LoCurto will be the first person to tell you that, in life, shortcuts won’t help you succeed. In fact, Chris is living proof that hard work, applied consistently over time, will produce great results.
Having worked with Dave Ramsey for more than 10 years now, Chris has grown Total Money Makeover LIVE!—the largest event on personal finance in the United States—from 1,600 to 11,000 per event while serving as the Vice President of Live Events. If a small business grew that quickly, we’d call it wildly successful. Why? Because growing businesses, audiences and products is difficult. But Chris is an expert at doing just that.
For Chris, this money stuff isn’t just theory. He puts it into practice every single day. After going through the process of getting out of debt in his own life, he’s extremely passionate about helping other families learn how to get—and stay—out of debt!
Chris is an accomplished speaker who travels extensively throughout the United States helping families and businesses learn how to handle their money. He also teaches Dave’s EntreLeadership principles to business owners throughout the year at a three-day event at Dave’s main offices in Brentwood, Tennessee.
A native of Lake Tahoe, California, Chris has been married to his wife, Debbie, for 10 years. He is passionate about constantly growing—both personally and professionally—no matter what the endeavor. He was awarded the Dale Carnegie Award for Highest Achievement in 2002 and also serves on the board of On The Go missions organization. He is an avid race-car enthusiast and skier. Chris and Debbie now make their home in Franklin, Tennessee.
