Dave, I've been following a self devised plan like what you've been promoting. And until last monday I thought I was finally starting to see a clear path to financial freedom eventually. Then I got hammered by J P Morgan/Chase with my MasterCard bill. I'd gone over my limit, but had never had a problem before with paying it back down. I've stopped using my cards completely. But when a guy brings home about $3000 a month, and gets a bill for $1550 dollars along with a change of interest rate on the account to 29.99% HOW IN THE HECK IS A PERSON GOING TO EVER GET AHEAD??? Last month's bill was $479 (paid them $500). And I'm going to send them $700 on this impossible to pay bill....What the hell is going on with the credit card companies?? I've never missed a payment, and never pay the minimum....

Okay--I always knew you guys were funny, but this was FREAKIN HYSTERICAL! I think I just might have to make DaveRamsey.com my homepage if this sort of ultra-entertaining content keeps popping up. Love it! Thanks for making me smile! (best of all--these are jokes that only fellow "snowballers" would understand--makes me feel like I belong to some awesome club w/ it's own lingo!)
