When I turned 18, I collected all the credit cards I could, as if they were this vanishing paradise I could only get once! I learned that one particular card for a jewelry store had this "great" feature called cash advance! Lucky me, right?

Well, it was my boyfriend's birthday, and I decided he deserved the best. I maxed out that lovely card and paid for it over the next couple of years. The kicker to this story was that I never even got one piece of jewelry out of that card!
