My wife and I took out a variable annuity life insurance policy 9 years ago. I cancelled the policy after listening to Dave.
I had the same amount of money at the end of 9 years as I had put in it - no interest earned! We had to pay a penalty of $1,100 each because we didn't go at least 15 years.
Thanks, Dave, for getting me out of the variable annuity life.
