Hi Bear, You don't know me, but I feel the commitment and generosity of your kind spirit. I volunteer and have helped third graders learn to read in several reading recovery programs. Volunteering and reaching out makes such a big difference to the person you are helping. It shows them that someone cares, and it gives them hope, self esteem, and a sense of accomplishment. I know that by teaching a third grader to read I have given them a precious skill. that will alter their life. It also makes a profound difference in their life as they are now ready to tackle the higher grades. I urge you, and it is my hope that everyone who reads this will commit to a minimum of one hour a week volunteering. It is not intimidating or that hard if you focus on who you are helping. It is so gratifying. I don't believe the old excuse of not having enough time. You can always find a block of time during the week or on the weekend. I challenge everyone who reads this to give back to your community a minimum of one hour a week by volunteering where you feel comfortable. Go for it. Just do it. I vote for for bear, because I'm a single mom of two who got my real estate license but have no money to pay up the association and board fees and dues for the whole year ect.. to get started and I hate and want out of poverty, so the fact that he took time out of his busy schedule to help someone in need and help her start her own business is amazing!!! My sister and I have been training together for over 3 years now and she has seen improvements in her abilities that the Doctors said would never be possible. Her bone density has improved. She has been able to crawl and move her legs. She has a long way to go but with God's help we are praying and pushing forward! She has always had a heart to serve so for her to want to offer Christian Counseling free of charge, while she is in the place God has her, is proof that God lives inside her and is working through her!! I also teach group fitness classes in my small town where there is no gym or place that people can go to learn how to exercise and eat healthy. I used to do more one on one client sessions but found that I can reach out and help more people through these classes since my time is limited. Being a full time Firefighter gives me some time but it is limited and I have to reach as many as I can. My future goal is to open a gym in my town so that everyone has the ability to go somewhere to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Leon "Bear" Moore

Bear, I pray that all goes how you wish... You are a true leader for God, I remember when you came in and helped teach an ECA class that I took years ago and seeing your passion for teaching and leading us and then I will never forget when you were the medic that came to my house one Dec night (years ago) because of my, at the time 8yr old daughter, She was on the neb, when you walked in you could tell something was not right with her so you prep'd her and got her into the ambulance... I remember sitting in the passanger seat on the way to the hospital and just praying as my baby stopped breathing. Bear, you never gave up on her, you did everthing in your power to keep her breathing...!!! Erin, is now 13yrs old... and til this day she tells everyone that Bear saved her life...!!! She has always wanted to tell you that in person... Bear, may you and your family be forevere Blessed... Thank You Bear...!!!
