This is a quote I found on some sort of card before I moved to the Seattle Area from Springfield, Missouri 7 years ago. It challenges me to look beyond my current proxemity (Spelling). Took my 12 year old to Town Hall for Hope. He know thinks Dave is a genious because of the comment about ..first we bailed out stupid then we stimulated (?) stupid.., so many great words of advice. Including when he is advising a desperatley scarded spouse and says "hold each other close and know that the worst thing that can happen is to loose everything. But as long as you have God and each other, even that is not so bad".

How could the "NFL bankruptcy" rant be left off this list? "You know how (these NFL players) that happened? THE SAME WAY IT HAPPENS TO YOU!!!" I have kept that episode in my iTunes just to hear that rant. It may have been Dave's best rant ever. A close second goes to any rant that includes a reference to waiting on the government - which we all know is great for its ability to manage money - for people who have not done what they needed to do financially.
